Yes. Once downloaded, it runs fully offline in your web browser. There is no account, no login and no internet needed, so it works on site with no signal.

Does it include official AIA G702 and G703 forms?
No. Storm Builder produces pay applications in an AIA-style format. It is not an official AIA document, and no AIA forms or wording are included. If you own the official forms, you can load your own copy and check it against the software's calculations.
Can I use my own AIA forms with it?
Yes. Load the figures from your own G702 or G703 (PDF, Excel or CSV). The software compares them with its own calculation line by line and shows exactly where they differ. You can also build your schedule of values from your own G703 and pick up the opening figures from your last application.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows, Mac or Linux computer with a modern browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Phones and tablets can view and edit, but backups are easiest from a computer.
Where is my data stored, and how do I back it up?
Your data stays on your own device and is not sent to the cloud. Use the built-in Backup and Restore to save a backup of everything and import it on any computer.
Do I pay for future updates?
No. Updates are free. When a new version is released you download it, back up in the old version, import into the new one, and nothing is lost.
Can I set my own currency and Sales Tax (VAT) rate?
Yes. Currency, company details, logo and Sales Tax (VAT) rate are all set in Settings and appear on your quotes, invoices and pay applications.
Can I export or print pay applications?
Yes. Pay applications, reports and statements export to PDF, and many reports also export to Excel.
How do retainage and change orders work?
Set a retainage percentage and choose how it is rounded (per line or on the total). Approved change orders add to the contract sum automatically, and previous work carries forward into each new application.
Is it accounting, tax or legal software?
No. Storm Builder is a billing and project tool. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, so check your figures with your accountant.
How do I get it after I buy?
